It is time for the first edition of Athenaeum Goes British. And we are delighted to announce that our first guest will be Geoff Dyer!

Join Athenaeum Boekhandel Spui, on Tuesday, November 12, at 19.30 p.m., for an evening with Geoff Dyer. He will come to Amsterdam for an evening in our bookstore  and will talk about his work with bookseller Lola Storm. Is Dyer a typical British writer? What does a British writer actually entail? And is there a difference between British and English literature? Do Dyer's books fall under a certain genre? Or does he himself dislike genres? How does he look at his idols and when does he decide to use them for a book?

It promises to be an in-depth, interesting evening!
